The status is NOT quo.

So help me, I want to descend on that hospital with the wrath of a thousand suns and tell them to shape the hell up!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Fuck . I am feeling a strong urge to run to LA and straighten things out. I did not expect to come home and still see you this bad. and dealing with a hell of a lot of bullshit on top of it. I know they have to repeat stuff, and they are busy , etc. But they are expecting way to much from someone in this much pain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The IV's in! Hoorah. Now all they have to do is put something in the IV and we can start cooking with gas.

Fucking hell, I hate hospitals.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh ita, may they put the good stuff in there quick. All the peaceful pain free ~ma in the world headed your way.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Good lord, ita. I wish there was something I could do on your behalf.

Well, hey now. Will you look at that?

I'm wearing cherry PJs and pink nubbly socks.

And I got to see Noah outside of...well, outside of his hospital anyway.

Kat, when you get back, B says thank you.

And I'm getting some pain meds. I might yet sleep tonight, and even if I don't, I'll be snazzy looking.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY for cherry pjs and for Kat and for pain meds.

Thanks to all you guys. I've put on a pretty solid pain/drug-induced complaint session all day (really, I got up maybe three times today), and it was better than cathartic.

The mystery PC (where are the innards???) I'm using right now crashed twice (oops) and both times I was way too tense at the thought of it not coming back. Sure, I'm a professional, but I'm a professional in a bad mood and on drugs. I'd have thrown caution to the wind to get the connection back. Y'all are a lifeline.

Someone should write a book about how that works.

That's what we're here for, ita. Just wish I could do more.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It's kinda nifty, innit? What with the support system and the electronic umbilical cord and the cherry pajamas. It's made of awesome.

It's too bad we're all axe-murdering pedophiles, or this'd be a real nice story.

Now, go to sleep, ita.
