The place where Emily and Val lived in Central Square gets a 97. The apartment may have had its problems, but it was really nicely located!
Natter 53: We could just avoid making tortured puns
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Mine got a 97.
Mine got a 91. The Bars listed are completely hilarious if you know the neighborhood.
The nearest bookstore listed for me is a tiny Brazilian religious one.
Exciting, paperdol!
That site isn't able to take one thing into account: if it is boneheaded stupid to attemp to walk anywhere due to traffic. My brother's house gets a deservingly low 18, however, it should really be a 1 or 0. Because you are insane to try to walk the road that leads to anything. Very little space next to the road, no sidewalks, lots of blindspots and everyone driving way too fast. Not that it's stopped him, but....
My house got a 43, which was way higher than I expected. It seemed to have a combination of the "here, walk on a giant highway" and a "here, walk three miles through a neighborhood in which you will get shot!"
In non-related news, I am reconsidering having my cell ohone ring be "white & nerdy" after having my phone ring on the bus when I was the only white person on the bus AND I was reading Harry Potter.
My family's place got a 0.
It can't find my new apt.
My address in Toluca Lake got an 83.
The place I lived in the mountains got a 3!
Current address: 63, but it is missing a lot of the new stuff.
My place gets an 89, which seems mighty conservative. I can, and do, walk to everything.
Hmmm, my life is getting more and more walkable:
Childhood home: 55
Paris: 57 (this is ridiculous given I lived in the heart of Saint-Germain)
Brooklyn: 77
Eastern Shore: 86
San Francisco: 89
ETA: Damn line breaks again!
