I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Compassionately intolerant

My place gets an 89, which seems mighty conservative. I can, and do, walk to everything.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Hmmm, my life is getting more and more walkable:

Childhood home: 55
Paris: 57 (this is ridiculous given I lived in the heart of Saint-Germain)
Brooklyn: 77
Eastern Shore: 86
San Francisco: 89

ETA: Damn line breaks again!

Wow. The house where I grew up has a walk score of 0.

My address got a 63. Guess they don't count high probability of getting mugged or knifed while you walk against the score, either.

Most of the nearby restaurants they list are in the Baptist Hospital food court.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My current place rates a 34, but, like sarameg's, it doesn't take into account the actual walkability of the roads that go from point A to point B. I'd actually give my neighborhood around 15. Sucks.

Haha, I think we broke the site. It just told me that they're over their Google Maps limit.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I think we broke the site. It just told me that they're over their Google Maps limit.

I saw some popular blog link to it yesterday, so I figure it's been getting pretty popular....

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hellooo, Natter!

My house got a *9* on that walkability thingie. Heh.

So exciting, paperdol!
