I'm here to undermine your world view. We always assume that what we are taught about perspective is the way we actually see. But it's not. In the outside world there are straight lines, so we put them that way into our pictures. We have developed complicated schemes of geometrical rules to guide us. We take photos with cameras that have lenses that carefully distort the world to make it fit with the expectation that straight line should be straight. But visually they are not.

If I'm being moderate, I eat a 6- to 9-piece roll and maybe 2 or 3 pieces of sushi.

sushi sushi sushi sushi! I am going to make sushi onesies for my noodles soon.
And maybe sushi diapers so I know which ones are ours and not the diaper sevices.
I'd like a prezzie from the universe too. And I think I got one in the form of a job offer after my interview. I have 2 concerns and a qualm. If I take the job, I become a UCLA employee... so I have concerns about health insurance (I wonder what will happen with Grace since she is in the midst of being cared for etc) and I have a concern about the commute.
Everything else about the job feels just right. I have the option of working part time or full time. Which makes me think about what we can afford.
