I'm getting the pig!

lisah - when I first moved into my current place, my cat Ashton escaped. I live right off of a busy street and he's always been an indoor kitty so I was hecka worried. I was outside calling for him constantly for three days (and nights) straight without a peep from him. Then on the 4th day, just when I was on the verge of giving up, he crawled out from under my next door neighbor's bushes.

I hope Swifty is near-by (check bushes!) and that he doesn't hide out as long as Ashton did.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nicole is very smart.

YAY

Yay kitty!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for Swifty!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's very quiet, this afternoon.

TOO quiet....

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hah! You called it, Nicole.

For about 15 minutes here, all of my noisy noisy neighbors have been perfectly quiet, and I've enjoyed the silence so.much. This way you can hear the birds and the wind....

Always Anti-fascist!

The cat's back?

lisah - Aug 05, 2007 12:25:55 pm PDT #2518 of 10001
Punishingly Intricate

Cat came back! I had a feeling he was close by under a bush but was afraid I was deluding myself.

Man, not the funnest Sunday ever.

Fortunately, he came back in time for a) me to give him his shot close to when I would have anyway so his insulin schedule isn't all effed up and b) me to go out to dinner w/ my friend. I don't know where we are going but there will be alcoholic drinks involved for sure.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, thank goodness, lisah! I'd have been so panicky!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yay kitty-come-back-ishness!

Have folks heard the Old 97's song "Murder (or a Heart Attack)"? It's about when the songwriter lost his cat. (His cat came back too.)

A good song to play to celebrate.
