Swouncing

Doing the usual skip-and-poke-head dance, to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Fred Pete's birthday.

Happy birthday, Fred! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

lisah, eeek on the escapee. It may be worth it to go sit quietly right near the escape point outside. Many timid older cats get freaked out and won't come out when you call all worried, but if you're quiet, they eventually decide it's safe to come out.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

oh, lisah, that's scary! One of my cats would escape at any opportunity, and then get terrified and hide somewhere. You'd think he'd have learned it's scary out there. Theodosia's right; cats hide when they're scared even when it would be better not to - especially if they can hear that you're scared too, I think it validates their fear! I used to sit and mutter to myself or hum so they'd know I was there and everything was fine, and eventually they'd come out. Faster if I had tuna, of course. I hope Swifty comes back soon and is okay!
