"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I took the El home. It did not catch fire or derail. There were firefighters on my block as I walked home, but I swear that had nothing to do with me, seriously.

Oh my god, I'm a walking destructo ray today.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

One thing that the job search people suggested is that you can provide a point-by-point comparison of your experience and the requested skill set -- you can even make it up as a table. Note that a good cover letter shows off your verbal skills and selling ability, too.

Starts sobbing again. -ed! -ed!!!!!

I'm home, eating dinner. I've given the keys to my neighbor, have laid out a selection of clothes to pack and have a pile of electronics and their chargers sitting next to me. It's going to be weird carrying a purse with all this crap in it. Usually, I just have books and the cdplayer and batteries. This time, I have no need for AAs.

After dinner, I'll do my nails and maybe finish up the packing. Tomorrow is trash and vacuums and leaving.

Susan W - 78 degrees and overcast sounds heavenly to me.

I just came back from the corner store and I am bathed in sweat - it's that humid

My plans for this weekend involve moving v. little to avoid this as much as possible. Well, except that I have to go pay my rent, drop off a gazillion library books and go to the grocery store.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now everyone's crying!

On the heels of a fast and productive meeting this morning I actually sat down and finished two tasks with lots of dependencies. And then my boss came by to ask status on stuff, and I could reel it off without having to check my notes or anything. Then the guy one cube over heard me mention one technology he works on, so he came over to (productively) stick his nose in...

I can go home now, right? I mean, I mailed out meeting minutes. That's huge, right there.

Hey, look! The red paperclip guy wrote a book! Which Allyson's is more popular than. That's kinda cool, all round.

This photo scavenger hunt is kinda kicking my ass.

And, dammit, one of the krav students wants a private session with me, and I don't know how much to charge. I guess I need to find the price of a really good instructor and downgrade myself accordingly.

And my mother and sister come into town in less than a week and my apartment's a mess and I'll so need decent groceries or I'll get upbraided.

Our wings are not tired.

No crying, you'll get me started.
