Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

And then erinaceaous made me cry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, that and the food colouring, according to that recipe.

Go erinaceous!

Also, I apologize for the level of self-involvement I've been displaying for the past like, YEAR.

I've been remiss in...everything.

Anniversary and a house for Robin! Yay!

Surgery for Mac! Boo! (but yay for him getting better and solving medical issue).

Anniversary for Miracleborns! Yay!

Migraines for ita. Boo!

And lots of other things I haven't properly celebrated or soothed or supported because my head is up my ass.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac came to the office with me today. The office wanted to see him, he and I needed to learn that a wheelchair on the subway really would be ok, grandma/dad needed a morning free (although grandma chose to do laundry), and he needed some alone time with me.

Huh! I was wondering why someone thought turning a chocolate cake red was a good idea. Now I learn it's a chemical reaction.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I'd like red velvet cake better if it weren't red. I don't know what game my mind is playing with me, but it just doesn't scratch my chocolate itch.

Which I totally mean in a non-porny way.

Just had a short and productive meeting. I'm feeling a little dizzy as a result.

well he is gone now, but he likes the attention, plus he got a present (bribery to get him to come in) and then gets to watch videos.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh, I just heard a voicemail from my sister telling me about the EW write-up. Yay Allyson!

Randomly, when I picked up food at a deli for a picnic tonight, they gave me a free piece of red velvet.

More randomly:

We're going to Ravinia tonight to hear Hilary Hahn and Josh Ritter. Together. I have no idea what to expect. But we decided we'd do sangria on the lawn, and then for some reason we ended up planning out a very Asian themed picnic. So I'm scouting around for desserts that will match, and the cupcake place's flavors for the week?

Almond cake with lychee (!) buttercream

Sangria (spice cake with merlot buttercream and dried apples and cherries on top)
