Oh yeah, and what I actually came here to post was that I have some people coming to visit next week and we're doing this weird spiritual gifts assessment and part of my task was to get friends to fill out a survey for me, about what they think my skills are. I think all bets tend to be off on the big mountain stages, because the people have probably expended a lot of effort to get up there, are filled with nationalistic pride, and are often drunk.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. If I were there and had everything invested in one guy from my country and had saved up my whole life to be standing at the side of the road, I would probably scream and run alongside him waving a flag too.
Okay, I probably wouldn't. But I would understand the sentiment.
But I also can't imagine trying to ride through that mass of flesh. Although I did awww at them pushing up whatshisname as he fell back.
