Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Uh huh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I suspect she has a Paris shrine somewhere.

Paris in cowboy hats, even.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Poor Jesse will never live down the cowgirl thing.

I was just thinking that the poor girl wears a cowgirl outfit ONCE to a party six years ago, and she is forever immortalized...

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think it wasn't so much wearing it to a party once, but having it as a userpic on WX. For a long time I still pictured people's Stor's when they talked here!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you Aimee! Also, from googling "hash marks" and "marching band" I found the name of the instrument I was given to play in marching band (I played the french horn. It had a different mouthpiece, differant shape, different keys, was pitched in a different key, AND had different fingerings, but my teacher still seemed to think it was one instrument I payed.

It is the Mellophone [link]!

Sophia = Aimee and Aimee = Sophia. Cause that's what I played, too!!

Punishingly Intricate

And wasn't it a come as you AREN'T party? That makes it even more deliciously ironic.

Okay, that is HILARIOUS if true.

I can't get over the Robert Olen Butler letter. The comments are PRICELESS!
