Thank you Aimee! Also, from googling "hash marks" and "marching band" I found the name of the instrument I was given to play in marching band (I played the french horn. It had a different mouthpiece, differant shape, different keys, was pitched in a different key, AND had different fingerings, but my teacher still seemed to think it was one instrument I payed.

Wow! I meet a surprising number of ex-French Horn/Mellophone players, considering there were only 2 of us in my entire marching band, and scads and scads of trumpets, flutes, etc.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Hivemind help--we are going to buy a new bed for our new house. An actual grown-up bed! We are moving up to a queen size and need it to be A. a platform bed , B. stylin', and C. cheap. Any suggestions of stores in SoCal or brands to look at?
