It bugs me when right-handed people wear watches on their right arm. Have no idea why, but this goes back to when I first wore a watch in 1st or 2nd grade....
Come to think of it - maybe it's because wind-up watches have the winding knob on the right, so it's a lot easier to wind (and set) if it's on your left arm.
I ate something that upset my tummy yesterday. I haven't barfed, but I can feel the ick passing through my digestive track.
NPR did a story on Lindsay Lohan this morning.
NPR.
Lindsay Lohan.
World ending?
World ending?
It was a piece about how she's reallytruly a serious actress. I'm'a vote yes.
Dammit, why can't Bush get arrested for drunk driving?
Wait, he already did. I think some attorney named Gonzales got him off....

Sorry, tommy.
I used to wear it on my left hand, but then for some reason or other (maybe a rash under the strip or something? I forget), I had to switch for a couple of days to my right hand. And when it was time to switch back, I kept wishing I still had the watch on my right hand, because it was so much more comfortable. Because I'm right-handed, I use my right hand way more than the left, so it was so much easier to glance at it, while doing other things, and find out the time. With the left hand, I always had to raise it especially for checking the time, it couldn't be done while doing other things, because those other things were right-hand territory. So it went back to the right hand, and stayed there, and that was years ago. The End.
Tom, make sure you hydrate yourself, OK? And if you're hungry, try to eat only simple stuff, like maybe crackers or a toasted bread (with as little as possible other than the bread). Oh, and maybe a Coke? t /Jewish mommy
I don't think this is really the right place,
Sophia. Natter is never the wrong place. Maybe someone can point you to where a more thorough discussion happened, but EVERYTHING is always right to post in Natter (whitefont disclaimer for plot points blah blah).
Food in General: Yes. Have some.
Fork: Switch? Huh? Well, I usually don't have to: being left-handed I stab the meat to keep it in place with the fork in my left hand, hack it to bits with the knife in my right and then eat. With my left hand.
Watch: Left-handed, right-wristed (when I wore a watch.) Also, wore the watch with the face on the inside of my wrist, the better to avoid banging the watch on walls or whatnot. This evidently infuriates some people.
