Didn't really like it before I was vegetarian, either. Didn't hate it, but just not something I'd think of eating unless it was on a plate in front of me.

For the record, Chez Zmayhem not only drinks root beer, but we drink a wide variety of them and rate them and prefer the fancy ones.
