Because books.

I don't even know that that means, but yes!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

you have to ask Plei--I think it's a comic book thing

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

When Jason Todd, Robin II, aka The Dead Robin, the one the Joker beat to death with a tire iron, the one with the creepy case-filled uniform dedicated to him in the Batcave, came back from the grave (all growed up and somewhat wrong), the eventual explanation was that Superboy Prime, in his efforts to break through dimensional barriers, had PUNCHED A HOLE IN REALITY, this causing all kinds of continuity changes.

And while some may view this as the most boneheaded, dumb-ass part of Infinite Crisis, I myself view it as the most utterly hilarious and effective explanation for EVERYTHING.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

For some reason, I too really don't have a problem with Sam and Ruby. Especially since the body is "uninhabited." If they were destined for a long-term relationship or the show portrayed this as "true wuv", I think I would have a bigger problem with it, but he was grieving, out of his mind, so I guess he's in a screwed up place.

I don't see this as a permanent relationship.

In other news: I don't want the angels killing an innocent! I hope she's either a demon or the angels' mission is foiled.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Maybe it's another test?

Human military/espionage tactics, sure, I can see them deciding that the risk of her falling into enemy hands is too great. I'd expect a little more from divine beings.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I don't want the angels killing an innocent!

I'm wondering if to the angels ending the mortal life of an innocent might seem like a reward.

One way trip to Heaven, no waiting.

Yeah, that was my other muddled thought after watching: why not phrase it like "we are taking her home", unless Castiel is trying to shock the Winchester's into taking preventative action.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Over on TWOP people are appalled that Sam is having sex with a demon. More than that he is having sex with an animated corpse. Of course, we're so past being upset about those things. (Spike, Angel. . .)

Yeah, after Spike and Angel, that demon issue isn't even on my radar. It doesn't matter to me if they are having sex or tea. The animated corpse thing I was surprised to find still has the power to wig me out. I was watching True Blood and when Bill popped out of the ground all naked and grimey, then proceded to have sex with Sookie, and that grossed me out. I guess I prefer my vampires and reanimated corpses less in touch with their --er--dead side.

You've got to let it flow over you!

::Loves Amy to bits:: This is key.

I'm guessing you missed the entire third season of the show, in which she was BATSHIT CRAZY? Hallucinations do not seem the less likely possibility to me.

The season that Denny died was the last season that I watched. Except for to see Kyle Chandler or JDM. Izzie was pretty batshit even before the Denny thing (I think she even scared him) but I don't know if that was the third season or not.

Now that I think about it, Sam knowing that Ruby isn't holding the rightful tenant of her body hostage might put a different spin on his encounter with Ghost!Meg. Too bad--looks like I'll have to re-watch.

Whoa! Now I've gotta re-watch for his reactions again too.

Castiel is trying to shock the Winchester's into taking preventative action.

Like hoping Dean will save her like he saved the town? That might be.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

If JDM can reappear on GA why can't he come back to Supernatural and haunt the boys?
