What's your base color? Mine's light sandy/rusty brown, and I get that exact shade of red with repeat applications of henna.
My base is dark brown. Dark. I've always wanted to try henna but with my base do I run the risk of it being purple? Do I have to wait until this color is grown out before I can apply henna or can they interact?

Henna's usually okay over chemical dyes, but because it just deposits, it would only give a red sheen over a dark shade.
