Bobby is awesome, and any haters need to step off.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

my previous blog -- for Supernatural fans only
Current mood: amused

Just a follow-up to make it clear that my feelings aren't hurt. The fans who were complaining about Bobby weren't complaining about me, but the character. So don't nobody worry about me. I'm amused by it and warmed by the response from youse guys.

I figure Bobby will probably be back for several appearances in the final six or seven episodes of the season. Once I get free from Harper's Island, I expect they'll have something for me over at SPN. They've asked a couple of times and I wasn't able, but after January, I'll be free and I'd be surprised if Bobby doesn't show up soon thereafter.

Thanks for the kind words.

Jim

Nevermind. I went to see what the response was on twop, 'cause car wreck--gotta watch, and found out it wasn't a direct post to twop but on his blog. And here was his following post on his blog. MySpace, I guess. So I apologize kinda that my knee jerk response had so much passion left over from another show. my bad.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I love Bobby, but I don't think he's being used particularly well in the show. He's basically a plot device brought in to solve a problem for Dean and Sam, and other than the one episode about his wife's death, he's gotten no character development of his own.

It's not that I don't want to see him, but I want to see him used well, and I don't think he is.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm on 'Suela's bench here.

But I did love the panic room--even though the salt would have eaten through the iron walls in about three months' time. The *idea* of it was just so nifty.

The idea of the panic room was FUCKING AWESOME. I still think that's my favorite thing the show has done, ever.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Does Supernatural have a new day and time? Starting when? After Turkey Day? Is it permanent?

Art Crawl!!!

Uh, not so far as I know.

Where did you hear that?

Art Crawl!!!

This scifiwire piece doesn't mention a move but it does say that episode 10 is the fall finale.

That's next week's episode - next new one after next week is January.

Oh, they're doing that Croatoan-Hunted cliffhanger thing. Bastards.

Visilurking

I much prefer a 6-7 week hiatus to the dreaded rerun/rerun/new episode/rerun/rerun pattern that typifies the Thanksgiving through New Years television offerings.
