Because books.

Jared, I'm pretty sure. You could certainly hear his "Whoo!" when it was done. (But yes, there were others, too!)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That was definitely a hoot. JA is totally adorkable.

And now I'm thinking about Sam's eyes again. Brrrr. So was it a leftover hallucination? Or did Dean really see that flash of yellow?

I'm 99.999% sure that was a hallucination. It's a sickness of fear, and Dean's afraid of Sam going evil.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Read tiggy's whitefont to me upthread when I was asking about it. Jared engineering it and Jensen taking it and running is about the cutest thing in the world.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

we should totally do a rewatch of this and Bad Day at Black Rock someday soon. Dean and Sam are equally annoyed with each other when the other is incompetent.

Dean's scream when the cat jumped out of the locker had me rolling. i had to pause, rewind and watch it again. Jensen you own me, you really do.

My mother just pointed out to me that tonight's OCD sheriff, who was the demon who brought Holtz through time on Angel (and please don't ask me to spell his name), was also the werewolf hunter on Buffy. I had never made the connection before.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm 99.999% sure that was a hallucination. It's a sickness of fear, and Dean's afraid of Sam going evil.

But Dean was supposedly "cured" by then. You think lingering effects from the ghost sickness?

I'm such a bad fan. I didn't place him in either role until it was typed here.

But Dean was supposedly "cured" by then. You think lingering effects from the ghost sickness?

Not spoiled for this, just speculation, but I am betting there is more to it than just lingering effects. Dean was wearing his trying-to-be-strong-and-hiding-his-true-feelings face.

He wasn't cured then, Bev. That was before Sam left to go tackle the Luther ghost. He wasn't cured until the very end of the episode.

Tonight sheriff was all those things, and also a sheriff on an episode of House two weeks ago, which Ailleann pointed out to me! He gets around.

I should also point out that my mother, who noticed the sheriff/demon/werewolf hunter identities, is 68 years old, and watches Supernatural ("are The Boys on tonight?") right along with me. She also watches all the rest of the Whedon-verses on DVD repeatedly. I think I'll try to hook her on Farscape next.
