[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Me too.
Start up again on the hour?
Sounds good, but could you send some of those brownies this way?
I wonder now what would happen if Dean encountered a djinn, now that he's been back to 1973. I bet his vision of "home" might be a little different. Not in a bad way, though.
What did you see, Plei? The tenderness? The cautiousness? This is the first time we see John in the series, yes? I can't remember.
Top of the hour's good.
Oh look, Faith is on this disc. Hmm, maybe later.
Yeah, see now I just want to watch the rest of the disc. Oh, BOYS.
::stuffs brownies through the interwebs::
I think it is the first time, other than the pilot. And I just can't reconcile John in the pilot with John in ITB. Better John in Home than in the pilot. Why is that?
There are brownies?
I can see the ITB John in this scene. Huh.
Me too and I didn't expect that. In fact, I was expecting some things that were hard to reconcile, but it all pretty much fits.
Amy, yes, this was the first time that John physically appeared in all his JDMness glory. eta other than the night of Mary dying.
What did you see, Plei? The tenderness? The cautiousness?
Yep. The quiet respectfulness, too. With Missouri. I mean, most of the interaction we see with him in canon is in the heat of a hunt. We don't see him outside the window of his boys very much at all. We see the father he became, but not the man he was.
all his JDMness glory
And there's so goddamn much of it. Much as I love the boys, JDM is like my prototype ... type. YUM.
Okay, getting brownies. And more wine!
The only thing that wouldn't really have fit is Sam asking "for what", and "Why would she do something that like" if he had gone back in time too, so maybe it's best that JP wasn't available.
