Yes. This is why John Winchester always looked so tired. (Also, the woman who plays his fiancee on the one show and the man who plays his son on the other show are the same age.)

Oh, like that would never happen.

JA or JP?
The full beard went a long way to making him look older, shame he couldn't seem to hang on to that the whole time.
It's a sign that I'm a sucker for the false truths presented to me by TV that I'm now weirded out by the fact that I have no concept of JDM's true age, and that if I grokked how old he really is I'd be freaked out.
JA or JP?
probably JA because i think he and Katie Heigl are both right about my age.
I have no concept of JDM's true age
he's 40 and delicious.
According to IMDB, JDM is 41. Which makes him perfect dating material for moi.

I was about to say this-- he's less than a year younger than I am, and I'm almost 42.
Yeah, I always wonder if it freaked the actors out that JDM was playing their father when he's nowhere near old enough. JA is going to be thirty this year (I think?) so that's a little ... bizarre.
Not that I am complaining about the casting, mind. JDM is one of my favorite things about the show. ::rustles up six-foot-long list::
Get your hands on a copy of Jam, which stars JDM at his own age. He's a dad with young children so he gets to be appropriately fatherly.
It's an indie, also starring Gina Torres, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, William Forsythe, Alex Rocco, Tess Harper, others. It's a *tiny* movie, as these things go, but it does give the actors a showcase. Plus, for those who care, there's JDM ink visible.
I own it, but I'd say it's certainly worth the price of rental.
Which makes him perfect dating material for moiMe too, please. If we are forming a line.
Plus, for those who care, there's JDM ink visibleI'm not even a huge fan of tatoos and yet this makes me go "gah".

JA, like me, is 28. (Plz do not age us early, kthx!)
JDM is quite tasty. I must ruminate on these facts.
