"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

(On the show, I mean. Not all the time. One assumes.)

Snort. That made my day.

Oh, I was going to go with "Why are you so awesome?" As kroki_refur points out, he makes totally silly and overblown lines sound foreboding and awesome.

This. Hypothetically, if I was watching the episode (again) last night, I would have thought the same thing.

Ridiculous line one: I am an angel of the Lord.

Ridiculous line two: Because God commanded it.

I'm not saying it's bad writing, I mean he is an Angel on a mission from God, but I can't imagine having to deliver those lines. Those words could have had us in stitches, but instead he looked and sounded like he was in earnest. He still may be lying, but I have to give him props for his delivery.

That's a better question than, "why are you so hot?" - which was posted at least twice.

Please tell me this didn't get asked of him. Instead of

Dear Misha: Where have you been all my life?

which totally should have been.

Did anyone else notice how tall he made Jensen look? Their eye lines were all funky. You may not notice these things until the fourth or fifth viewing.

Because books.

I'm so remiss! I'm only on three! I need my fangirl card taken away, clearly.

The TWOPPEr (it's on the quotes thread) said Iambs - not pentameter.

I mean, iambs don't have to be in pentameter, do they?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I mean, iambs don't have to be in pentameter, do they?

They do not - I marked out Castiel's line as iambic pentameter (y halo thar, Shakespeare obsession), but that's easily fixed:

"I'm /the one /who gripped /you tight /and raised /you from /per-di-/tion"

Iambic just means stressing every second syllable. So:

I AM an ANgel OF the LORD.

BeCAUSE God COMmanDED it.

(yeah, that notation style doesn't work for me. back to the slashes!)

One one of the interviews that Mischa Collins did today. (Or you know, since last Thursday.)

ETA: Spoilery about how many episodes he will be in.

Sorry to leave it so long. Fringe was more absorbing than I would have guessed.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I liked how he was puzzled that Dean could doubt the veracity of anything he said. Like the concept of deception was foreign to him. Well played.

One one of the interviews that Mischa Collins did today.

Thank you for linking that! It was wonderful. (eta: Article itself is a leetle-teeny spoilery on the whole for number of episodes and fleshing out of his character.)

Non Spoilery part...

“A few people have emailed me links to chats where there was a lot of discussion going on and I’m amazed by how in tune the fans are. It’s almost like the show has 4 million editors,” says Misha with a laugh.

Gah. I get so embarrassed when the actors know exactly how crazy we are.

“It kind of makes me nervous, I didn’t realize people would be going over it with a fine-tooth comb. I’m going to have to be sure that I don’t screw up.”

Oh, honey. Welcome to the party. You ain't seen nothin' yet.

I completely agree. I thought his portrayal was very Nicholas Cage, City of Angels-esque.

Art Crawl!!!

So true. (About not seeing the whole crazieness yet.)

Also - I think his name is spelled Misha - but it's confusing: the title of that interview spells it Misha but the link spells it Mischa.
