To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice, with pie.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, as far as we know he's only harming demons, yes?

He's blinding the bodies they are occupying.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

an undertone that they're really not *expecting to get* a S5

Well, after you have a storyline with God and Killer Angels, where do you go after that? Besides back down to a season 1 (which wouldn't be a bad thing) sort of vibe.

He's blinding the bodies they are occupying.

Unless he told the truth and it's something that he really can't help, if someone (a psychic or a demon possessing a human host) decides that they really want to take a peak at him. After Dean humiliated that demon at the diner, I can see her and her buddies trying to figure out who was responsible for Dean's escape so they could attempt to regain their dignity.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

WRT Dean slapping the "girl". I think it was intended to show Dean's demon-detection abilities, and that whatever brought him back has the demons scared. I don't think it was meant in a misogynistic way. I plan to try not to load S3's issues into S4 until they become apparent. That the girl-demon, now blind, proceeded to whomp on Sammy seems like a fair enough exchange of physical force, both encounters intended to show that neither Winchesters nor demons adhere to the niceties of social custom.

Or, I could just be an ostrich at the moment. Time will tell. And Non timebo mala.

Can we have more JDM with this please?

I have to rewatch now. I'm on such an endorphin high. SHOW is back!!! Boys are back! And Dean is going to smack the lying liar who lies named Sammy. Poor gullible Sammy.

Because books.

I believe Castiel when he said he warned her. And even angels can't avoid collateral damage -- in terms of demons occupying human bodies -- especially if we're getting old-school avenging angels.

Yeah, it's probably the idea that to look upon the true form of an angel is too much for a mere human. Or, in this case, their eyes.

It doesn't roll off the tongue in a mellifluous way, but yes, he is hot.
