love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

The hug was breathtaking. The look on Dean's face, where he just let himself melt into it... And the fierceness of Sam's grasp, the sense that if he just holds on hard enough Dean will never leave... Gah. Gah.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Now that it's had a chance to settle, we really did get a glimpse of many years of "what if" with Sam, didn't we? Wow. I keep tearing up and having to focus on other things.

This show is amazing. /understatement.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I love the way they can take something light-hearted and then rip it right out of your chest.

Because books.

That was fucking incredible. Go Sera, bringing the absurdly funny and the heartbreak in one episode.

No one reacted to Dean saying, "Aw, Sammy, you know it makes me tingly when you take control like that?" Sera SO reads fanfic. Like, all of it.

I caught it but its been discouraged here so I didn't acknowledge it. Not everyone thinks its a funny gag on the show...what? I can have layers.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm quietly geeking over in the corner at how well JP carried the episode. For the most part it was Sam's range of despair, rage, desolation and determination on display, and he really delivered.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

this episode was very Joss-y for me. bringing the pain and the funny all in one.

the scene with them both saying the same thing at the same time had me laughing so hard i had to rewind a couple of times to hear everything they were saying.

Jared really brought it tonight. usually Dean is the one breaking my heart into a million itty bitty pieces, but Sammy ripped it out, stomped on it with his big ol' boots and then put it back in my chest.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I wonder how many takes it took them to do the conversation where Sam was anticipating each of Dean's lines.

What's funny is that earlier I was thinking that the Trickster really felt like something that wandered in from the Buffyverse.

Makes me hope we get see outtakes of that at some point in time. Wonder how many times they rehearsed that to get it right?
