So I met Sam Winchester today.
This tall, floppy-haired, puppy-faced kid comes into the shop today to get flowers for his girlfriend, and I couldn't stop starting at him, because my brain had blown a fuse and was chanting "Sam! Sam! Sam!". He was all adorable and awkward and smishable. After he left, my boss, who is also a SPN fan, was wondering why he'd looked so familiar, and I shouted (unable to control myself) "SAM!" and she immediately knew which Sam I was talking about.
The previous day we had a customer in talking about Colts, and my boss said "We like Colts". He had no idea why we were snickering.
In other news, while I really enjoyed last Thursday's ep, am I the only one who found Sam's reaction to Bela watch-from-the-hall? I mean, it was kinda funny, but then I was thinking, as un-suave as Sam is, he's not thirteen either.
It was odd, but I chalk it up to him being fuzzy-headed from just waking up and much of his blood supply being currently occupied in places other than his brain.
While my initial reaction to Bela wasn't negative like many fans' were, I have no particular objection to going for the trifecta of fatal post-banging-Sam supernatural encounters.
To clarify, for me, the watch-from-the-hallness began the moment he woke up and continued through the teasing and on through Bela actually showing up and then leaving, and not just the fact that Bela was there.
--But if she ends up where the red fern grows, then by all means, let them have at it!
if you haven't seen this, rectify thineself! i really do ♥ him.
For those following along on iTunes, the ep is up.
A friend just emailed me this re: the CW:
The network is requesting five or six episodes each of "Smallville," "One Tree Hill," "Supernatural" and freshmen "Gossip Girl" and "Reaper." ("Gossip" had received a full-season order, while "Reaper" hadn't). As for "Life Is Wild," the network is not planning to request any more episodes, and the freshman family drama is not expected to return.

I'll miss seeing the elephants but it didn't have much other going for it.

Go Six! Choose Six!

Me too. Really.
If FNL doesn't return, could we get Jessica back? I mean, the Impala survived an impossible crash--so that makes anything possible, right?
Let's see, with "Dream a Little Dream of Me" they've aired 10 episodes this season. There are 2 more scheduled. If they manage to fit in another 6 (she says, hopefully) that would give us 18 episodes. It's not a full season, but it's not too far off. Not as bad as it could have been, anyway.
I think they'd get the arcy episodes in and leave out the stand-a-lones.
