Because books.

They went all out with the motel last night, yeah. Awesome.

I loved seeing Bobby's house pre-widowerhood, too. And the super-saturated outside shots with Sam were so well done.

bleh, gotta go teach French New Wave movies to undergraduates when I would rather chat about the ep *pouts*. But, let me just say: /agree on the Daddy issues and resentment boiling over (let it out Dean, don't hold back, tell yourself how you really feel. . .), Sammy is adorably inept at flirting, and poor Bobby. The forest turning into the hotel was awesome and kudos for bringing some of the funny! Now, let's roll up our sleeves and figure out how to save Dean now that he wants to be saved.

Stooooooooopid tivo didn't record. It decided another show was a higher priority despite my programming. Fark, no rewatch for me.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I kind of wanted to be in that dream to point out that John did sell his soul to save Dean's life, so it's not so much that he always let his family down—more a case of being unable to express his loyalty and affection in healthy ways.

Also, I thought dreamwalker guy's jibe to the effect that Dean was all about protecting Sam was worthy only of a "yeah, so?" from him. I don't see Dean regarding that as a negative.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Fark, no rewatch for me.

I think dropping the $1.99 at iTunes would be worth it for this one.

The color codes - just, yeah. Red and yellow are associated with demons and with Sam, so I loved the first motel. And then Bobby being blue and green, but then there was pink in his original living room, and pink is also associated with Mary, and I seriously think I had a colorgasm watching this thing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I love the way they brought back Sam's precognition

They did?

Bela is so preeeeetty. Sam has very good taste. This is not the first time we have been in alignment.

Bela coming to the motel, in a trenchcoat. Then ... Bela coming to the motel, in a trenchcoat.

Also, Sam's freaky!mind!powers, with Jeremy.

Oh, I just thought that was supposed to be a joke. I forgot about Sam's pre-cog powers.

I keep forgetting I can do that. I haven't bought any tv off of iTunes before...this would be the PERFECT time to start.
