Okay, I get that it's a card game and you can get very, very drunk playing it. Otherwise, I think you either need a Ph.D to understand the rules or be so drunk it doesn't matter.

This! The second part, I mean.

I was trying to remember the actual *rules* to Hands Down and ... they just wouldn't come. It's a blur of laughter, palms slamming down hard, and drinking. Somewhere in there was an actual game. I think.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Usually the latter, Sail.

Some of the most spectacular shouting matches I've ever been in with a group of people that I'm more or less fond of have been over the particulars and applications of Asshole rules.

It's also not too much fun if some of your friends are spiteful drunks.

I sort of miss drinking games. Although I was total crap at quarters.

I do not, however, miss the hangovers.

I'm so lacking in culture of drinking games. The only thing I ever played was quarters. But then, I wasn't much of a drinker until I got divorced and then all my drinking was done in bars and the only game was walking around on two legs

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

You were a sinner at heart, though, right? It's the thought that counts.

I can see Dean not having the time or patience for drinking games, actually. Unless it involved him winning money.

Sam, on the other hand, I could see being clever and dextrous enough to rule at a game like quarters, and quietly get everyone else drunk. Plus, he's HUGE, so he's got to be able to put a few away before he's feeling it.

Well, I'm not *proud* I learned to play quarters at fourteen. With Genessee Cream Ale. ::shudders::

Although, honestly? It was kind of good to get it all out of the way. I got to college and was like, yeah, we can drink, whatever, while my roommates were puking and falling down and missing half their classes freshman year because they'd been set loose in New! York!City! and could finally have a beer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Polgara and I have played SPN (and GA and once even Muppet Show) drinking games via AIM. That was fun.
