Oh yes, I think Demonic Blondie is actually a possessed woman - just like Meg was. Just because she doesn't want to kill Sam immediately, doesn't mean that she isn't evil - we just don't know what her agenda is.
I wondered whether Evil Real Estate lady wasn't purposefully keeping the values of the homes down so that they would appeal to parents who are more vulnerable. (If there are more single moms in the subdivision - fewer dads to get rid of.)
Just because she doesn't want to kill Sam immediately, doesn't mean that she isn't evil - we just don't know what her agenda is.
Word. Having no fondness for others of her kind doesn't make her a goody-goody.
Her comment about being a "good hunter"... I'd be intrigued if the demon had possessed another hunter. Or if they're "working together", and eventually the girl will turn on the demon.
Here's some gentle snark: How many single-mom yoga instructors do you know who live in a house like that in a gated community?
Just because she was a yoga instructor 8 years ago doesn't mean she still is.
ETA: And by that I mean handwavium!
Evidence for blond!demon NOT being goody-good: she specifically said part of her interest in Sam is due to his being a potential anti-Christ. Sounds like something that might motivate an evil demon.
That scene of the mom putting her car in neutral and drowning her not!daughter - it broke me. Last time this show affected me like that was when Sam shot Madison (the girl/werewolf).
Even when this show is campy fun, every now and then they pull one of those.
That scene would have been more disturbing except that I just knew that the creepy child would show up again.
Oh, I agree, Wolfram. And the actress played it so well, completely strung out, not quite believing what she was doing but so afraid and exhausted.
You know, I was racking my brain as to where I've seen that scene before, and all I could come up with was South Park - Butter's Very Own Episode. I'm sure it's been done elsewhere too. But even though the scene wasn't original, the acting and direction were spot-on amazing.
Oh my ... I really enjoyed this episode. The minute Ben opened his present and yelled (approximation) "awesome! AC/DC rules!" my first thought was Dean's your daddy. And I just laughed and laughed at the similarities (hot chicks in the moonbounce!). Then it got scary ....
