Yeah, Sam definitely brought it this episode.
Which I think is kind of thematic. Part of the whole swing of focus and responsibility.
While I think it's possible that Lisa lied, I hope she didn't. Dean may be wistful about not bringing life into the world (although, dude, you got around, you might want to check a few other places just to be sure.) but it would bring more than wistfulness if he did. Knowing you're going to die, and being willing to do so is one thing, but leaving behind a kiddo (that you've already been an absentee dad to), when you have your own history, is a lot of bonus death angst.

I just rewatched and damn I like this ep a whole lot more knowing that Ben isn't Glory Dean's mini-me. I am "yay SPN" right now with my pompoms.

Do you guys think that Dean was presumptuous to assume that she wasn't attached after eight years? Even after she was all "I have a kid" he didn't seem to exhibit any expectation of there being a present father.
