Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Okay. That was good.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Can we now talk about how much we need need need to see Tamara again, and how after the first flush of grief passes, she should totally hook up with Bobby?

Tamara was made of win.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Tamara was awesomecakes.

I dig the five seconds we saw of the blonde.

Oh, yeah. Tamara was nifty. So glad that Isaac bit it. He was the Ike to Tamara's Tina.

Because books.

I really really liked Tamara.

I loved the conversation at the end, too -- it feels appropriate, Sam reading up at first, not pushing, Dean being hedonistic, and Sam finally confronting him.

But Dean's "I'm tired" hit me as hard as it did last season.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Tamara was awesome.

The blonde was intriguing. I wonder how long it will take us to find out she's stalking Sam (it's currently reading to me like a neat twist on the Buffy and Angel situation in very early S1 Buffy, what with the kick-ass blonde and the tall, occasionally broody guy).

I have some unspoiled speculation on who she might be, but I'm probably wrong-wrongity-wrong.

Aww. I bet Isaac was a cool dude when he wasn't a possessed corpse or getting his alpha on.

Blonde girl remains disturbingly hot to me. I remain uncomfortable with this.

I have possibly watched that confrontation at the end a few times. Maybe.

Yes. This. I'm glad they didn't drop that idea.

Anne, if your unspoiled spec is the same as mine, and she's got a dead father in the wings, I hope we're correct. We're probably not, but wouldn't that be awesome?

Also! Anyone notice how much of this episode was Sam POV? (Like, if I were writing the novelization of the episode, it would be in 3rd limited Sam POV.) That was just spiffy keen, and a nice change.

Very much so.

I really want to know what Sam was thinking when Greed was describing their sins, what motivates them. I would love to know what Sam thinks his greatest sins are.
