"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

AmyLiz, I edited the line in.

I kinda like Supernatural 2: You don't know crap about my Dad.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yess!

tiggy, it depends on the legend. Morphing into animals (most cultures--including HP, animorphs--have this legend in some form or another) is done at will. Often morphing into a new human form is done at will, too. All that's needed is a clear mental image of the new shape, which could be someone who exists, or just some random person.

SPN's shapeshifter evidently has to be in close proximity, and it prefers to kill its template.

Because books.

Did you mean the animagus, from Harry Potter? Or the Animorphs books series?

I wrote two of those! So fun. Rachel morphed into a starfish and got cut in half in one, and I got to do cows and chimps, too, as well as all of the kids' favorite animals. The eagle was the most fun, because of the flying. That was a good gig.

Yay, Animorphs. It sounds like you had fun, and I'm sure those were the two best-written books of the series.

But yes, I did mean animagus.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

why does she not jump on this instead

I suspect Madison's "OMG! I killed people, didn't I?" realization had a lot to do with it. And the fact that Sam didn't prove all that effective at keeping her locked up when actively trying.

Also, she changed two nights, took a night off, then changed on the fourth night. Which implies it can happen any night rather than just ones with a full moon.
