Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Whew. That was a lot of Bureau to catch up on. I hope to have brilliant thoughts and suggestions after the poll results. (Maybe I'll be acclimated to the IL heat by then. Northern MI was not this hot!)

Thrive to spite them

The survey wasn't meant to be a broad detailed census of how the board is used, it was meant to get data on the questions that have been raised and to clarify points about how the board is used.

We could have gone with pick your top 5 threads, or even rank them in order of how you use them, but we wanted people to pick the threads that are absolutely essential to the users experience.

Personally, I read more than 5 threads so I understand it can be hardship.

This is an information gathering poll, where the results will be posted and then we'll have a chance to look at the results and discuss them.

There is a comment section, so please use it.

And if you know of people who don't post regularly please encourage them to take the poll.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm not complaining - I thought it was very well done. I'm just, you know, never satisfied.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Um, who's reading the survey responses? Because I made a leetle joke in mine, and I don't want anyone to actually take it seriously.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's why I wanted to mention it -- no way you (whoever) would know it was from me and I was kidding. FTR: I believe in voting!!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Poll not working for me, no choice buttons/boxes.

Using OSX 10.4.10, Firefox 2.0.0.6

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I was deeply amused by my dissertation in the poll. I haven't been all that vocal in the discussions here (because I didn't have that much to say!) but evidently I did have a lot to say. I just haven't been saying it.

Poll not working for me, no choice buttons/boxes.

I have the same version of Firefox, but I'm still using 10.3.9 and it seems to work okay. Odd.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Using OSX 10.4.10, Firefox 2.0.0.6

Worked fine for me with the same OS and app versions.
