5. How do you navigate the board? a. Read New b. Click Threads c. Both d. I do not understand

Would using Message Center instead of the Home Page be the same as "b"? Or should it be it's own item?

I ask because by using the Message Center I only see the threads I'm subscribed to instead of all the existing optionss.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Is that enough or should I post more?

IIRC, there used to be a few people who posted mostly in Spoilers. I don't know if they're still there, or if they've started visiting other threads as well. Might be worthwhile to post it in Spoilers just in case.

Punishingly Intricate

This was my question as well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I'd say (a) read new, (b) message center, (c) front page, (d) combination, (e) wtf? Or similar.

Ann, that's a ferret.

megan got the basic idea of my comment. "should we" separates those who'd be willing to do some fine tuning from those who think it's broken.

Inviting people to offer specific issues would help set a framework for any discussion, but I can see keeping it simple and waiting until we decide to have a discussion before getting to any issues.

I saw Message Center and Clicking thread as the same, but we can clarify that.

thanks.

Thanks msbelle. I see them as separate because of the limited list I am picking from. With subscriptions you can shape what you want to view and then ignore the rest of the board - even if you don't mean to. It can make it easy to forget there ARE other threads out there.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

This is the only question I had an issue with, since I'd rather see the different options people choose. I'm thinking along the lines of, the options could be a, b, and c as you've written them, and then d could be "none of the above" or "other" (with a textbox to explain?), and then allow people to choose more than one option.

I agree with this. If there's a way to show the percentage of voters for each of these options (and allow people to choose more than one), that would be great.

I was going to say the same re: message center vs. clicking threads, so thanks.

Thank you so much to those working on the poll.
