Burn it down, and salt the earth.
(Am I missing it, or do we not even have a Jossverse thread anymore, anyhow? We have "Other Media" and "Jossverse" appears in a few thread slugs, but I think we ended "Jossverse" as its own thread in 2006 -- so GO US! [link] )
+1 re: BS consensus and archiving.
Am I missing it, or do we not even have a Jossverse thread anymore, anyhow?
Cindy, that was apparently the first one, which was closed at 10,000 posts, which I will also archive now since I missed it. There was also "Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers" which I archived yesterday. I missed the first one because there was a leading The in the title.
Thank you, Laura. Where is the one you archived? I can't find it.
They are both archived now, but damned if I can find where the archived threads are located, other than in the admin section.
Yes, it looks like "archived" and "closed" are quite different. I can see closed threads, but not archived ones.
Do we also want to consider removing Jossverse reference in certain thread summaries and descriptions? For example, those references in threads like Fan Fiction, Literary, and Other Media don't seem particularly relevant at this point.
Also, just as housekeeping: can any of the Stompies move closed threads to the closed thread folders?
Looks like it. For the record, I just moved the The Natter 76 and the 2019 Goodbye/Good Riddance threads to the closed threads folder, as Topic!Cindy requested. Uh. In December.
I can see closed threads, but not archived ones.
I think DXM had done a lot of the archiving. Certainly he did for pre B.org threads at TT and WX.
Not sure where they are now after the switch to the new board.
