I'm good with BS consensus to re-open the thread.

Okie dokie, I'll go ahead and see if I can reopen a closed thread.
eta: that was easy!
Can we reach a b.s. consensus on the spoiler policy for and warning at the top of the re-opened Veronica Mars thread?
I wouldn't think we need a vote, because we already have a rule for streaming shows where a season is released all at once, and this is now a streaming series.
(I posted this next bit in that thread on July 1, but so far, Una is the only person to have responded to it. She was in favor of it. Una "Veronica Mars: Annoy, Tiny Blonde One. Annoy Like the Wind." Jul 2, 2019 7:18:07 am PDT)
The new season of Veronica Mars drops to Hulu all at once on July 26th.
At the top of the streaming thread, the policy is spelled out like this:
Spoiler Policy: Spoiler font two weeks for content presented all at once. Content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
Is that what we'll do for VM, and if so, should it be posted to the top of the VM thread?
I would think this shouldn't affect seasons 1 - 3, since they've been out for a dozen years and the thread is full of (old) open discussion of them, but it should cover the new season.
The following is currently at the top of the VM thread:
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I don't want anyone to get blind-sided.
I'm all for the BS concensus. How about this:
Spoiler Policy: Seasons 1-3 and the movie are fair game. Spoiler font two weeks for new content presented all at once (e.g. Season 4 on Hulu). New content presented as weekly episodes may be discussed with no restrictions as it is released.
Sounds good.
That works for me.
I'm good with that.
Makes sense
I literally never want to hear the word BS consensus again! But I think using the current policy of using the streaming policy for a streaming show is the right thing to do.
