Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is there a Stompy ready to start it up?

It was one consideration....

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I'll be around for about an hour and a half, then I have to teach. I don't think my students would appreciate me stopping my lecture in the middle and having them wait while I start a new thread.

Edit: And my favorite get's it done before I even have office hours...

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

What thread for Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency ?

Season 1 Episode 1 is available for free on the BBC America web site: [link]

For some, I think BBC America is Cable Drama. For me, it is Premium Cable, to which I am not a subscriber, so I will probably we watching it Streaming from either Amazon or Google.

Or should I punt, and post in Boxed Set?

Boxed Set seems right to me. The original books were sort of scifi-ish. Syfy shows are on cable, too. Plus it costars an ex-hobbit.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

We need a new Boxed Set thread.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Looks like the consensus was
