What is even happening?
I'm pretty sure I'm the genesis of that one. It's the phenomenon often seen when someone has a new SO and they can't stop talking about him/her, and use any excuse, no matter how tenuous, to keep talking about him/her. So if someone mentioned they cooked carrots for dinner, the newly smitten person would pipe up with "Bob likes carrots!"
I'm way out of this, but if memory serves, I'd bet the mortgage that Teppy originated the Bob Likes Carrots thingie.
