Okay, since we seem to have reached consensus, I put Streaming up. Is everything decided for MCU?
Bureaucracy 4: Like Job. No, really, just like Job
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.
Current Stompy Feet: Jon B, P.M. Marcontell, Liese S., amych, msbelle, shrift, Dana, Laura
Stompy Emerita: ita, DXMachina
Well, just the name I think so far.
Also, did we have any thoughts about spoiler policies on comics outside that thread?
Multiple episodes released simultaneously?
How about:
Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted.
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks.
Also, when the mod creates the thread, as a first post, maybe a listing of all MCU productions, which can be edited and kept up to date?
- Iron Man, 2008
- The Incredible Hulk (Ed Norton), 2008
- Iron Man 2, 2010
- Thor, 2011
- Captain America: The First Avenger, 2011
- The Avengers, 2012
- Iron Man 3, 2013
- Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., 2013–present
- Thor: The Dark World, 2013
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier, 2014
- Guardians of the Galaxy, 2014
- Marvel's Agent Carter, 2015–???
- Marvel’s Daredevil (Netflix), 2015–???
- Avengers: Age of Ultron, 2015
- Ant-Man, 2015
That sounds like a good idea
I like both of Tom's posts.
Do we need to mention comics, particularly regarding spoilers? They weren't (and to my mind shouldn't be) part of the original proposal, but there was some talk above about comics' spoilers creeping into the thread.
They were a part of the proposal, though. People who were talking in the voting thread seemed to be people who did not read the comics and were afraid of spoilers, so the policy that was voted on (which I am not sure is the right one) was that people should whitefont things from the comics that haven't yet taken place on the show.
