But someone searched "bboc factor"?
That might be my doing? I mentioned the term to someone from another fandom, and they may have googled it before I could get a link.

Why don't you just type buffistas.org into the address bar?
Um, I dunno? Because I have a Google search box embedded in Firefox, and it's right next to the address bar? And I'm used to typing things in the search box, because when I'm at my base computer I search a lot but my sites and bookmarked?
Seriously, user behavior is often totally irrational. I just worked with a student who was afraid of Jstor. An undergrad. Easiest database on the planet.
oklahoma girl who cain't say no
ok, I swear it wasn't me. I do the search for buffistas.org thing when I am on the phone or on other people's machines. Habit.
buffistas.org
Me too, at times. Old habits die hard, and sometimes it's faster to connect to Google than to the site directly, to make sure I'm not typoing all over the place.
james marsters "cement block"
if they told james marsters that his new love interest was a cement block, he would have chemistry with the cement block.
There might be the slightest connection with moi. Some time after watching Dr. Horrible, I thought of "On the Rise" (not sure that's the name of the song) and how some men/unmen of the verse have the tendency to throw themselves at cement blocks when frustrated with their romantic lives. I don't think I'd search for "cement block" (because "wall" comes to my Hebrish mind, not "block"), but if Google have suggested the second sentence first, I'd probably narrow it down to JM and "cement block" afterward.
My mind, let me show it to you.
It's a pretty big wedge. Uses of Google
Could a stompy please change me just to "Pix"? Thanks.
We have a much more definable referrer spike (NPI) from TWOP, from the Vampire Diaries recap that mentions BBOC.
Was it okay that I linked to the FAQ? I know linking to the thread is wrong bad wrong, but I figured the FAQ was okay.
As per all the posting stats, it warms my cold, cold heart that I'm still showing up on the stat tables for spoilers, spoilers lite, and light bulbs. I'm glad I'm finally out of the B'crazy gang of 14, though. Hope this post doesn't screw it up.
Somewhere out there, there's a post where I summed up the Guscapades (for Heather/Daisy Jane, I think). And in my opinion, if there's a Fast Eddie/TV Tropes entry in the FAQ (if, if, if) then we should link to the thread where Gus first proposed creating the site, and then to my post (maybe on Gus's name) so that people get the story of Gus.
I've linked to TV Tropes, when needed, for assignments, and then promptly thrown up. Seriously. That was my worst time ever as a Buffista. I never felt the same here, again. So yeah, I don't want to give him a lot of attention, but I also don't want people to be unable to ascertain that Gus/Kimi/Janitor/Fast Eddie are all the same person, and that that person is a huge-ass creep, or at least was -- to us.
The post Cindy refers to is here: Topic!Cindy "Bureaucracy 3: Oh, so now you want to be part of the SOLUTION?" Jan 6, 2007 5:26:28 am PST
I missed most of this myself, and am glad the link exists.
Cindy, I think it's perfectly fine to link to the FAQ, and see no reason why it wouldn't be! But maybe I'm not different from other buffistas?
I'm with meara.
