Cupid discussion: does it belong in Boxed Set (magical realism) or Comedy? It's an hour-long, but it's a romantic comedy (also a er...dramedy, a word which I hate).
I vote Boxed Set, in a Life on Mars (ptui!) sort of a way.
Not having seen the new Cupid: is he using magic powers to get people to hook up? I'm not seeing what is SF about it.
it's the "people finding true love" part.

I think you've nailed the current problem (for me) with Boxed Set--almost anything we watch seems able to fall under the fantasy part of SciFi/Fantasy and a lot is getting dumped there. Of course, YBSMV.

He is not, but he has a magic string of beads. Controlled by Zeus! Maybe.
I can sort of see ita's LoM rationale, since that show wasn't really SF most of the time, but Cupid is even less so.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Kings ended up in there. Is it because it's an AU? I thought it was more of a political drama like Rome or something.

A perfect example.
I didn't realize there was discussion of Kings in Boxed Set.
If you accept the PoV of the Cupid protagonist, he's a Roman/Greek god. Which falls into fantasy, no?
Kings is wobblier than that, but it is definitely an AU. It's either Boxed Set or Natter.
