If it ever gets picked up for TV, then it can always move into an appropriate thread (I don't watch it, so I've no idea where it would fit.)
It was recently picked up by (IIRC) XBox Live, and so could theoretically also go in Gaming. But I agree that OM is the best fit.
There's no point starting a Dollhouse thread. I actually owe the people here an apology, as a few people tried to tell me it would get fucked up and I was all 'It's a huge show! It's launching with 24! It's a fall show! The network love the idea!'. Also known as 'I'm a clueless idiot!'.
So if I wanted to talk about a video on YouTube, or a podcast, or a magazine article, or something I heard on on NPR... that could go in Other Media?
I'd think those would go in Natter.
I think the point of putting the discussion in OM is because extended discussion is expected of more than one episode. Not so much the case with a magazine article or something you heard on NPR, or even most YouTube videos.
But a regular discussion of, say, This American Life on NPR, would go in OM.

I don't think that's correct. OM contains all comics discussion, whether Joss-lated or not.
While I don't really have an issue with The Guild discussion going in OM, I think opening it to discussion of anything Internet, radio, etc. related would really change the focus of that thread. (Oh Nilly :) Where is the discussion of the OM thread prior to it being opened? Just curious about what the original intent was.
