I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

But we think you're a considerate and thoughtful bitch, Jesse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You're kidding about thinking you're a bitch, right?

Yes, I am.

But we think you're a considerate and thoughtful bitch, Jesse.

Excellent. Carry on.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I am disappointed that Jesse is not bitchy ENOUGH.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You just expect a certain level of bitchiness from a cowgirl.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So now you guys think I'm a bitch, right?

More of a badass really.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just for the record, I'm the sort of person who would fear that one rude post would overwrite the entirety of my character. I can see that at least Wolfram has the same sort of post=person perception; I don't know whether other people think and behave the same way. But I am glad to read that most people haven't actually had their feelings hurt in these quite contentious debates.

I certainly know from experience that one very unfortunate off-the-cuff remark of mine set a whole thread into motion (which is why I've felt extremely nervous during this entire discussion in terms of what I post), so P-C and Wolfram are definitely not alone.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Well, I certainly have been known to make snap judgments about people. OTOH, there have been times when a particularly elegant or nice post has changed my negative opinion of a poster. But, I think I'm more judgy than most people, so YJMV. I, mean, I've been known to take an instant dislike to someone based on their shoes.

I hope no one has based their entire opinion of you based on one off-the-cuff remark!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I ended a friendship over an off-the-cuff remark. Granted, it was an off-the-cuff remark that contained the N word and when I pointed out how offended I was they refused to apologize but if they'd never said it we might still be friends.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've been known to take an instant dislike to someone based on their shoes.

Crap. I don't remember what shoes I wore when we met.
