I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Just looked at the wording for the proposal. It does not mention adding a link to our site at the WGA page. Did we decide not to do that?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I just copied Allyson's final proposal here: Allyson "Voting Discussion: We're Screwing In Light Bulbs AIFG!" Nov 13, 2007 7:12:56 am PST

Visilurking

The icon would feature our logo, and would add us to a growing list of websites supporting fans4writers.

WGA would not be linking our site at all. fans4writers.com would, presumably, use a link when it listed our site as a supporting one.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I did get the email.

I can't get to the board from work, so I shan't be posting results until at least 4:30, and probably later, on Friday. I have also been getting votes.

What is even happening?

I didn't get a confirmation e-mail for my vote.

Did you check your spam folder?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know what, I didn't get one either, and I don't see it in my spam folder.

Swouncing

I did get a confirmation e-nail when I voted [Edit: so if there's a problem, it's not universal].

I got mine. The subject line is a bit mysterious: something like "Y:Jon B.", depending on how you voted and your user name. I did it that way to make it easier for the vote counter, but I should probably make the email that goes back to the user have a friendlier subject line. Next time, I guess...

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I got my mail. Because it comes *from* your own email address, your email software/server might barf at it as it will know you haven't sent it.
