(The pizza delivery person from Whedonesque, for lack of a better phrase). I have access to the domain incase they have technical problems, but otherwise I'm not really involved.

The problem with voting is the time frame. If we want to do it, I don't think we want to wait a week.
Could we consensus on it as a preliminary step, make the changes to the logo (or whatever is possible for the admins), and then have the discussion/voting? If it's voted down, we could revert back to the old logo.

Or, could we consense on requesting Buffistas for the sign logo at fans4writers (which would make Cafepress stuff available in addition to the web buttons) and vote before making any changes to this site?

I like aurelia's idea. I would also not be opposed to a bullshit consensus on the whole thing, but I guess that's not a good precedent.
