In addition, I thought we had an informal guideline to the effect that a show shouldn't be nominated for its own thread until it had a reasonable chance at longevity: a commitment through the end of the season, or a renewal for the next season.

FWIW, Kristin, there aren't many other show talks going on there at the moment, except for perhaps Torchwood. You can just pop in on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Nobody's really discussing Bionic Woman there anymore if that's one of the shows you didn't want to get spoiled on. (Probably on account of the fact that it sucks royally.)
There isn't that much SGA talk in there either.

Kristin the last 60 or so posts consisted of Pushing Daisies, brief mention of BSG's dvd release, Mary Tyler Moore origin for the use of "spunk", different words used to describe sperm, Jessica taunting people about having already seen Razor, Torchwood, Dr Who soundtrack news, how much Ray Wise rocks as the Devil on Reaper, conflicting timeslots come january, and one very brief mention of Journeyman.
That's the start of the PD talk if you want to see what's up, Kristin. I don't know what all you watch, but you're not likely to get spoiled for anything else.
