I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I won't be around to set up as ballot in four days. I'm just sayin'. I'll be on vacation, and dark gray, from July 26 - August 6.

We can still discuss, right? This is my first proposal and I don't remember the timelines.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jon, do you want to set it up now and send me the link, and I'll post it when the time comes? Or does that ignore some aspect of the process?

Well if you make the ballot before any discussion at all occurs it basically says that the discussion is not useful to the shaping of the ballot. Now that might be true to an individual proposer, but it seems sort of spit-in-the-eye-of-the-process.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What goes with 53?

Wikipedia tells me that it's the atomic number for iodine and it's the international calling code for Cuba.

Which is my way of saying I've got nothing.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Since I can't count, but can google, I would like to reserve 56 and 57 in advance for, respectively, Joe DiMaggio and Heinz ketchup.

Ummmm, Natter 53: all that and a joker too? Natter 53: we love our prime numbers? Natter 53: middle-aged?

We could go with 53rd and 3rd (from the Ramones).
