yep msbelle. you're right. What I should have said is "that some people enjoy and use as an argument of buckets."

wait so GA can go in Minearverse. or is it just for daytime soaps?

I think that GA could go into Minearverse as we've never made any official policy or had a vote on what goes into that thread and a soap is a soap is a soap.

I see how I could and prolly will talk about Pushing Daisies in Minearverse b/c of the Bryan Fuller connection. It would amuse me more to reopen Lovesick, My Ass (mainly cause the name makes me laugh) and put it there.

I think that people who are enthusiastic about Bucket Threads would get more people on board (like me) by tackling spoiler policy first.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

(popping in amongst TV thread hashing out to snerk at my husband's post upthread)

(I know that violates some sort of snerk-nepotism rule, but he never posts so I'm doing it anyway)

The abject failure of these precautions, my adventures on the Canadian border and the unmasking of Ellen S. as an Armenian spy are a tale best saved for another day.

::waits patiently, as it is now another day::

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, it is.

(ND snerking at her dh is almost as cute as KT and ND's apparently v. similar tv viewing habits.)

Heh. Just lucky, I guess. We're just really busy during the school year, so we can't keep up with most shows. We tend to pick a few and then sllllooowwllly catch up with the others as we can. Or buy DVDs the next summer when we have time to watch them. We're both spoilerphobes, too.

Huh. I figured there would be lots of posts today.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

SA, I think your proposal should be for easily definable threads and don't worry about letting a few shows fall through the cracks. If someone needs to discuss a show that doesn't fit into comedy, procedural (I'd be inclined to break that into crime (cop/law) and medical), or another existing thread then they can address that need when it arises. I suspect someone will want to come up with a category that will include FNL.

The new shows I see as Boxed Set are: Moonlight, Pushing Daisies, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Bionic Woman, Chuck, Journeyman and Reaper.

I think I was shouted down on this once before, but with this many new shows I'll broach the subject again. Is Boxed Set becoming so large that we should split off the network stuff?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Not every show catches on. I'm sure there are tons of sci-fi/fantasy shows on right now that we're not discussing.

I guess my broken record thing is that Boxed Set works perfectly for me. So. Cue broken record.
