I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

This is not the place to work out a proposal.

It can't be proposed if it violates our rules. That's what I'm concerned about.

If there was something that distinguished it from the overall drama thread that just got voted down, sure.

Well, not to speak for SA, but it seems to me that what would distinguish it would be the absence of the medical and legal shows. I could be wrong, but I think that the general drama bucket didn't pass because some felt it too large to be managable as far as spoilers would go. Taking out the medical and legal shows probably cuts it in half if we were to go with the show selecting method I mentioned above.

msbelle, I don't disagree that we don't need to hammer out the proposal here. But I think that we need to be clear that any general drama thread is off limits for 6 months. A specific category of drama that is clear is different enough from a general drama thread.

No one has proposed one yet.

eta I am deeply amused that Jon and I, who have had wildly differing opinions on procedure, are both interested enough in rules and procedures that we are both concerned that this is against policy. this is why, I'd wager, we were in the Gang of 14.

So all medical and legal shows are procedurals?

I'm very confused and need to go to bed.

But not before shouting out a "ha!" to Kat...

I don't know. I'd think that neither ER nor Grey's Anatomy are procedural in nature, though both are obviously medical (I think GA at least is a soap opera...I can't speak to ER as I have not watched it in years, but when I did [ah Doug and Carol] it was soapy too). House, oddly, seems classically procedural.

That still is a bit like "all other dramas" which is what was voted down.

I understand what you're saying better now that you phrased it as "all other dramas." I do still feel though, that in conjuction with the other threads being proposed at the same time, that it would be a splitting of "all dramas" into 2 categories. I mean, if I proposed a bucket for shows A, B, C, D, E, F and G, that had no relationship to each other other than being in my proposal, would that be against the rules in your eyes?

I guess they're not, now that I think about it. I'm not sure which medical shows were meant to be included.

I'm going to bed, too.
