Good info, brenda. Thanks for putting all of that together!
These are the comments so far.
1.Why did you leave 24 off of Monday? I could see leaving shows that have a niche (the Boxed set shows). But if you were trying to encompass everything, why no Dr. Who or Eureka? I you weren't, why out in show that Box Set would cover (Pushing Daiseys, Bionic Woman, etc.)? Also, why were the Daily Show and Colbert Report only on one night, since they air Mon-Thur
2.Sarah Connor Chronicles - but I'm guessing that would go in Boxed Set, so it's all good. Thanks for polling! Oh, this isn't for general comments, huh? Oops.
3.depends if some of the new shows have continuing storylines or are mysteries. And some how I missed the Reaper show in the above day selection, which I'd at least try watching
4.I'm a spoiler slut. I'm not worried
5.It's too early to say what I'm worried about! I would guess - Reaper or Journeyman. Sat, 8/18/07 11:08 PM
1.I really won't know until I watch some of these new shows. I'm afraid of being spoiled for anything with story arcs.
2.Isn't Smallville the original raison d'tre of Boxed Set? Why not include Heroes and Supernatural if we're including Smallville?
1.I have to be really into a show to care about spoilers, and right now, there aren't any shows I'm that into. Maybe one of the new ones will fill that awful void in my life. But I doubt it.
2.If Venture Brothers is coming back with new episodes I would love to watch & discuss that with Buffistas. There are a few other shows in the list that I enjoy watching and if I found discussion on them I might enjoy reading and posting but I wouldn't necessarily seek it out. -Laga

Regarding shows with arcs - can we narrow that down and find some direction that way? What shows don't have arcs? Most of the procedurals, I'd think, but more specifically?
I bet the Daily Show and the Colbert Report only showed up once because that is the day that they premiere.
I hadn't read the discussion that led up to the poll before I took the poll (yay clicky-boxes!) which might explain my slightly nonsensical comments.
Interesting. I would have expected a more substantial vote for The Office, given the enthusiasm in discussion.
But we sure are looking forward to Pushing Daisies.
I enjoy watching The Office but I don't have much to say about it. Maybe if there was an active discussion about it already my feelings might change.
Of all the shows that premiere on network tv, "Pushing Daisies" definitely feels like a buffista show. It just does.
Honest to God, I think I could take or leave just about anything else starting in September except I am really excited about "Heroes" and excited with trepidation about "Kid Nation."
I'm pleased that we're all looking forward to PD, but I'm certain I won't end up discussing it in Minearverse. I think I was briefly in there back in the wonderfalls days, but it would never have crossed my mind to discuss it there just because of Lee Pace.
But the poll results are fascinating--thanks again, brenda. Of course, now I've gotten back to 25 shows for the season having realized that the ones with threads already weren't included. Sigh.
Is Kid Nation the show where kids were taken for 40 days and forbidden to even call their parents? What kind of freak lets someone do that to their beloved 8 year old?
Clearly I would make a terrible stage mother.
