I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Of all the shows that premiere on network tv, "Pushing Daisies" definitely feels like a buffista show. It just does.

Honest to God, I think I could take or leave just about anything else starting in September except I am really excited about "Heroes" and excited with trepidation about "Kid Nation."

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I'm pleased that we're all looking forward to PD, but I'm certain I won't end up discussing it in Minearverse. I think I was briefly in there back in the wonderfalls days, but it would never have crossed my mind to discuss it there just because of Lee Pace.

But the poll results are fascinating--thanks again, brenda. Of course, now I've gotten back to 25 shows for the season having realized that the ones with threads already weren't included. Sigh.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Is Kid Nation the show where kids were taken for 40 days and forbidden to even call their parents? What kind of freak lets someone do that to their beloved 8 year old?

Clearly I would make a terrible stage mother.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How about this. How about we create a TV folder, and make it accessible to any poster who wants to create a thread.

God forbid. But you know what we are set up for? Any poster to propose creating a new thread.

I hope the user poll and recent discussions have helped other people clarify their own thoughts about all the larger issues as they helped me clarify mine. At this point, I think people who want specific things should propose them and then we can discuss that. I know that sounds like what we've been doing all along, but what else can we do?

Art Crawl!!!

That's the one. They made use of NM's child labor laws and I think, as a result, they've (NM) has tightened them up.

Sarah Connor Chronicles and BSG are going to be on at the same time. (Unless BSG gets moved.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I don't think anyone needs to be worried about being spoiled for Journeyman. Unless they've completely reworked it since the pilot I saw, it won't be on the air long enough for anyone to spoil anything. (I wanted to love it, I really really did. But it was SO bad.)

I see PD as the successor to Wonderfalls (being a Bryan Fuller show and all), and Minearverse the place most likely to contain those fans. There's no connection to Tim, and therefore no tangible reason the discussion should go there, but it does feel like the right thread for it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Good to know, Jess! FTR, I'd say the same about New Amsterdam, if it ever actually makes it to the schedule, and that new Kelsey Grammer sitcom.

K-Ville looks pretty good, though, and Sarah Connor Chronicles could be good cotton-candy entertainment.

That's all I've seen of the new dramas.

Oh god yes -- they were both pretty dire. Though New Amsterdam was sucky in kind of an interesting way.

I didn't see Cane on the list (and I don't know when it's scheduled to be on), but that's one I'm looking forward to. NOT that I'm proposing a thread for it. But it was a very good pilot.
