Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I posted once in TT Buffy 1, maybe once in Buffy 2, and slowly worked my way up to the brisk pace of posting that I now do.

That seems to be my first (and only) post in TT Buffy 1. And then I know I was super lurky for a long, long time.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

So people kept writing that there were too many references to USA history, that they were too heavily pointed-at, that diluting them or putting them in the background could have been enough and subtler, and I suddenly realized that I wanted to say that, no, it was just the exact amount and lighting for a stranger from another country, history and language to follow it all.

Hey, I remember that! I was (one of?) the one(s?) complaining about that!

Trust my rage

Who was the spikeloost story about again? It always makes me laugh whenever I think of it, but I can't remember who it was about.

I delurked in 2003, I think, as a Wonderfalls fan. I think P-C and Kristin showed up around when I did.

It would have been really fun to talk about Buffy, while it was airing, with ya'll.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Who was the spikeloost story about again?

Ellen.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Who was the spikeloost story about again?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, no doubt, but I'm pretty sure it was Ellen S. (who I haven't seen here in FOREVER! *sniff*).

edit: x-posty, of course.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

IIRC, spikeloost was Steph L., but it's been a while so I may be misremembering.

Evidently, I was misremembering.

I want to say I delurked in TT Five by Five, but I'd definitely been lurking for a while (although I was active in some of the TT politics threads at that time. Funny, I lost interest in them far before we abandoned TT.

Sue, you were posting in November 2000 and maybe earlier!

I think I arrived in December of that year, on your coat-tails.

EDIT:

Well, I just found I post I made in August 2000.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I just TOLD the spikeloost story to someone in our IT department yesterday! My shirt doesn't fit anymore....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I roughly share timeline with Plei and SA and Kate P., which is of course a great honor.

That was about the same time I did as well, and I have only recently stopped thinking of you guys as being in my "class." I think it's a strong memory because of the Smallville thread.
