Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Hey. New board.

Jilli, you and Pete should check out the trailer for 9 as soon as you get a chance.

Not Jilli or Pete, but I just watched this.

It... kind of looks like a video game? Admittedly, a pretty awesome video game, but I'm not really bowled over by it.

Because books.

Why, why, why? No one needs to remake Bye Bye Birdie. FOR REAL, Hollywood-type people. Young Ann-Margaret? Janet Leigh? Dick Van Dyke? Come on, it's perfect!

“Not dead yet!”

Oh Lord, NO.

And definitely not if that two-dimensional, cardboard pretty boy Zac Efron has anything to do with it.

Bah.
